The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center and Friends of GNFAC are sponsoring this all day field course.
This course is only open to those that attended the Billings lectures Dec 12 & 13. No exceptions.
All day Field session, Sunday, January 20th in Cooke City
YOU MUST ATTEND THE CLASSROOM TO GO IN THE FIELD.
YOU MUST SIGN UP BY FRIDAY, JANUARY 11th.
Participants in the field session will each need a reliable snowmobile and basic mountain riding skills. An avalanche rescue beacon and shovel are required.
COST: a $60.00 donation to The Friends of the Avalanche Center is requested for the Field Session.
BONUS: Team Idiots and the Scott Harren Memorial Foundation will be giving away a FREE ABS ballon pack at the Billings field day.
