After our explosive debut of I'll Be Home For Christmas Drama: A Musical Drama, we DeVine Vision Productions are excited to return with our first show of 2013. For one ticket price, all attendees will witness two powerful one-act plays. What Does It Matter: A Black History Drama and It's A Love Thing feature awesome casts and you will leave with messages of love, hope, and forgiveness.

What Does It Matter: A Black History Drama tells the story of Clara Banks (MaDear), who is temporarily caring for her grandchildren. She has raised her children and grandkids to fear God and have a relationship with God. She has also raised her kids to actively participate in church. Matthew and Raiven have been chosen to participate in the Black History program at church; however Raiven has her own agenda. Raiven is visited by African American history makers in her dreams. She is reminded how important it is that she remembers the contributors of her ancestors.

It's A Love Thing tells the story of characters who have experienced love or what they thought was love. The characters come to life on stage as they share stories of love, betrayal and commitment. Emotions, hurts, and wounds can cause you to become bitter or depressed. You can also choose to be free from your past and live a happy life free from past hurts, strife and worry. What choice will you make? The choice is yours……..It’s a love thing!?

During this event, we will also pay tribute to Gospel Music and R & B Legends including Birmingham's own Inez Andrews, Eddie Kendricks of the Temptations, Whitney Houston, The Clark Sisters, Anita Baker and others.
