Welcome to the revolution.?THe only party you wanna be at!

The Steppas

A revolution in music is taking place in the Pacific. From the

Homesteads of Hawai'i, we bring you roots in its finest and purest

form. From a collective of some of the Big Islands most influential

artists, comes the music that is 'The Steppas'.

Individually their music has taken them as far as Indonesia, and

Bali, Las Vegas, Washington, and Oregon, as well as up and down

the West Coast. They've seen and been a part of some of the biggest

shows here in the islands and have had the pleasure of opening for

some of the biggest names in the industry today.

Their musical influences have been felt in abundance by way of

their roles with groups such as Ai'Pohaku, Ho'okoa, Downstar, HI

Town, Ooklah the Moc and Big Mountain. Collectively, The Steppas

have had a strong start as the impact of their music is already being

felt well beyond the island chain. The success of their first single

entitled 'Good Roots' is proof positive that these men have truly found

their niche and that this, is just the beginning.

The Steppas consist of six integral parts, namely Na'ea Kaopua,

Rick 'Star' Alaniz, Kekolu Pavao, Kamu Ka'eo, Juan Martines and

Poki'i Seto. The mission of The Steppas is simple, create and play

music while spreading the message and vibe of The Steppas to as

many people as possible. A message of peace and love. Music

because they love to make music. Complimentary parts coincide to

create an authentic reggae sound. Dancehall and Lovers Rock

overtones round out the music, but make no mistake, this is Roots.

Good roots, good music.

By all means, please take the time to draw your own opinion. Take

the time to listen. Allow the music to draw you in, and the message

might set you free. Feel it, and share it. A new era is upon us.
