The grand success of the Cambria Iron Company
in the late nineteenth century led thousands of immigrants to Johnstown, with
many settling in Cambria City and Minersville. As a result, ten ethnic churches
were built within the fourteen-acre Ward, with each serving purposes beyond
religious faith. Each tour will begin at the Heritage Discovery Center.
*Due to the nature of this tour, we are
limiting the number of tickets available to 20 per tour.
**Tours will only feature the exterior of
these churches, as many are active establishments.
