Leading Clean: an Introduction to Clean Language with Dr. Caitlin Walker in Bozeman, Montana

One day. One shift in how you lead every conversation after it.

February 26, 2027 • Bozeman, Montana

Most leadership problems aren't strategy problems—they're conversation problems. The assumption baked into a question. The feedback that lands as criticism. The decision made on incomplete information because no one asked the one question that would have surfaced it. The tension that gets managed instead of resolved.

Leading Clean is a one-day, foundational training in Clean Language, the methodology built specifically to strip assumptions out of the way you ask, listen, and lead. It's the same discipline behind our three-day Clean for Teams training, distilled into a single day designed for people who are making decisions, giving feedback, and setting direction every day: CEOs, leaders, executives, directors, managers, and business owners.

You'll leave with three things:

  • Sharper questions. Clean questions ask without smuggling in your own assumptions, so the person in front of you does their own thinking instead of managing yours. It's a skill you'll use in your very next conversation.
  • More clarity, less noise. When you stop assuming you already know the answer, you make better decisions faster with less second-guessing and less reactive noise clouding the call.
  • The ability to hold tension without losing trust. Difficult conversations don't have to become confrontations. Clean Language gives you a way to stay curious under pressure so hard conversations build trust instead of eroding it.

This is not a lecture. You'll learn the core Clean questions through live demonstration and real practice, working with real leadership moments—the 1:1 you've been avoiding, the decision you're not sure about, the tension on your team you haven't named yet—so you leave with tools you can use Monday morning, not theory you'll forget by Friday.

Who it's for: CEOs, C-suite leaders, directors, managers, and business owners who want a practical, immediately usable edge in how they communicate — no prior Clean Language experience required.

At Leading Clean, you'll join Clean Language expert Dr. Caitlin Walker and facilitators Emily Stifler Wolfe and Erin Randall for an immersive learning experience in the heart of the northern Rockies.

Why We're in Montana

Bozeman is a small city in southwest Montana, about 90 minutes north of Yellowstone National Park. A popular destination, Bozeman has a hip, historic downtown and easy access to outdoor adventure. The snowmelt that flows from the surrounding 11,000-foot peaks become the mighty Missouri River, the longest in the country. Other Montana waters flow to the Pacific and the Hudson Bay. Likewise, the ideas we develop together at Clean in Montana will flow elsewhere. Montana is a headwaters state—for water and ideas, both. What we do together matters.
